The Method

Prayer Targets

Only after a while are some prayers answered, not because it’s impossible but is a matter of perseverance and persistence.  Just the same, in a season of endurance there is only one thing that will requite the situations we are undertaking; to just endure.  “Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” 2 Tim. 2:3. The correct attitude must be appropriated in order to gain altitude or get the answers requested. Our prayer target is injustice in every area being held captive.  So, let’s look at the example of the widow and the unrighteous judge in the book of Luke 18.  In verse two “There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.  And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” v2-5.  This is our response and purpose in this hour: “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?”  v7
